Jesse Shoresh Hose

Singer/Songwriter/Film Composer

Jesse Shoresh Hose lives in Carlsbad, California.  He is a blues/rock/jazz guitarist, singer/songwriter and film composer.  Jesse earned a Bachelor degree in Music Composition for Film, TV, and Games from Berklee College of Music.

Jesse started studying violin at age seven and promptly wrote his first song, "Bananas".  After a couple of years he switched to guitar and has been writing, playing and singing ever since.  Jesse earned Bachelor and Master degrees in Computer Science at UCSD and spent 25 years as a software engineer in the wireless telecommunications industry.

Upon retiring from software Jesse decided to follow his passion for music and promptly went back to school to study music composition for film and TV with Berklee Online.  Jesse completed his B.A. in June 2022, graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors.  Jesse has a knack for writing catchy melodies with creative, often humorous lyrics.  His songs range from upbeat rock and blues to soft heartfelt ballads and jazz, as well as cinematic orchestral scores and television cues.

Jesse performs at local venues and is available for guitar and music theory lessons.  Jesse is currently a co-coordinator of the San Diego Chapter of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI).
